This is about the measure of true success as it’s found in the power of service to others.
Shadow - Failure: This shadow appears as our own isolationism. Success and failure are measured against the paths of others, but failure is only an outcome when we are separate from others. The collective fear of survival (food, shelter, continuity of the tribe) has evolved into a field of competition (based on money). We fear not having enough and therefore are stingy with our resources, cutting ourselves off from the group.
Gift - Preservation: When we see beyond our limited world, we grow in the desire to keep everyone and everything alive. When we let go of the selfish need to win and focus on the harmony of community, like nature, what we need to survive will appear. At the higher frequency, we focus on the preservation of all life, not just our own.
Siddhi - Veneration: As we move beyond fear, we are transformed into being of service to the totality. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before, and we are the support to those who will come after us. Veneration is rooted in respect, reverence, and gratitude for everything.
I Ching - Heng - Long Lasting: The thirty-second gua of the I Ching is translated as long lasting. Some use the translation of the long enduring or duration. Just as in a marriage, mutual influence creates a long lasting bond. Sincerity, purity, and unselfishness are the essential elements to a long lasting relationship.
Questions for Contemplation: When do you find yourself comparing yourself or your circumstances to others? Can you see how this separates you from others, isolates you? What differences do you experience working toward a solo goal vs working toward a community goal?
Share your contemplations on this 32nd Gene Key. How or when does the shadow show up for you? What small shifts can you make in your awareness and your consciousness to move from shadow to gift? Has this shadow reappeared for you with additional challenges even after raising your vibration and moving forward?
